How to get a Library Card?
- Sign up for your library card online: Click here (note: page may load slowly).
Once you have submitted your form online, library staff will get in touch as soon as possible and provide you with your library card number and login details. - Visit us at the library (library hours).

- What you’ll need: To pick up your library card and to gain full access to our physical resources, please present yourself in person with a government-issued photo ID that has your Squamish address on it, or with a government-issued photo ID plus proof of your Squamish residency: a utility or service bill, a rental agreement, a piece of mail, etc. If you do not have proof of residency for Squamish, please talk to us.

Holds
You can find an item that you are interested in loaning out and place a hold, when its ready you can come pick it up at the library, or choose to cancel it whenever you’d like.
Using the Online Catalogue
All the items we have available to loan out from the library are displayed in the library’s online catalogue. You can browse popular selections and booklists, do a basic search, or perform a detailed advanced search for the items that you are looking for.
eBooks and Audiobooks
The library has ebooks, audiobooks and online magazines available for download via the free Libby app or via OverDrive (web browser).
Interlibrary Loans
If you can’t find an item that you are looking for in our catalogue, you might be able to request it from another library in BC.
