Public Computer Access

The library offers access to computers and printers. There are six public computers available on a first-come, first-served basis. Patrons or guests can use a computer for up to one hour per day.

Wireless Internet Access

Bring your own wireless devices to the library and enjoy free wireless internet access! Agreeing to our terms of use is required.

Printing and Scanning

You can use your computer access time to print documents, but you can also now print from your own device. Come in to the library with your device and follow the instructions to print. More info about printing and scanning here.

Please note, computer access is limited to the above-mentioned services at this time.


Public Computers

Members of the public with a library card can access the public computers for 1 hour every day, and guests can use the computers for 1 hour each day with a guest pass. Children below the age of 14 years can only use the internet with a library card signed by a parent or guardian; no guest passes will be provided to children.

All users are expected to use the public computers in accordance with the Squamish Public Library Policy Manual section 4.8 Library Computer Use and 4.9 Internet as stated under the Computer Usage heading below.

We also provide printing services from our public computers.

Public Access to Tablets

In addition to the public computers, there are also six public tablets available for patrons to use up to 2 hours at a time. Borrow a tablet and take it anywhere in the library, perfect for browsing the internet, printing documents, listening to audiobooks, reading e-books, or even playing chess.  Tablets must stay in the library and users need to have an active library card to use.
