Public Computers & Internet
Use our public computers
We have six public computers available on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Members of the public with a library card can access the public computers for 2 hours every day.
- Guests can use the computers for 2 hours each day with a guest pass.
- Children below the age of 14 years can only use the internet with a library card signed by a parent or guardian; no guest passes will be provided to children.
- You can use our public computers to print using our printer. Learn more about printing and scanning.
All users are expected to use the public computers in accordance with the Squamish Public Library Policy Manual, section 4.8 Library Technology and Internet Use.
Borrow a tablet or laptop
We also have six public tablets and six public laptops you can borrow. They’re perfect for browsing the internet, printing documents, listening to audiobooks, reading ebooks, or even playing chess—plus, you can take them anywhere in the Library.
- Patrons can use tablets and laptops up to 2 hours per day.
- Tablets and laptops must stay in the Library.
- Tablets are available to all Squamish Public Library cardholders while laptops are limited to adult cardholders.
Access free wireless internet
Bring your own wireless devices to the Library and enjoy free Wi-Fi access! Agreeing to our terms of use is required.
Print and scan
We have a machine for printing, scanning and copying at the Library.
You can use your computer access time to print documents. Alternatively, you can print from your own device: bring your device to the Library and follow the instructions to print. Learn more about printing and scanning.
