Donate to the Library
Show your love for the Library with a tax-deductible gift and help us serve everyone in Squamish!
If you’ve been coming to the Library for a few years, you know that we’re always expanding our offerings. We’re proud to do a lot with the limited resources (and space) that we have. Through changing times, we stay committed to welcoming everyone who comes through our doors, no matter who they are or where they come from.
Contributions from community members like you have allowed us to invest in beloved initiatives like our Library of Things, Pod workspaces, and events for all ages. Their popularity is proof that people in Squamish are hungry for shared resources, spaces and connections!
Strengthening our community
As our community grows, we’re ready to keep evolving every step of the way. Your donation goes toward much-needed facility upgrades, new items and technology for you to use, and more. Together, our impact touches every person in the Squamish community, all year round.
Donate Today
As a registered charity, all donations to the Library are issued a tax receipt. Make the Library part of your charitable giving plan and help us grow our shared future!

Other Ways to Give
We encourage you to talk to your trusted advisors and loved ones about planned giving to the Library. This could include gifts through a will, gifts of life insurance, and gifts of an RRSP or RRIF. Learn more about wills, estates and planning here.
If you have books that you wish to donate, please contact the Squamish Welcome Centre Community Bookstore. They accept book donations, and proceeds go towards supporting the centre’s essential programs for our community members.
The Library is unable to accept book donations, with the exception of new books by local authors or books about the history of Squamish in good condition.

Donor Story: Brightening Future Generations
If you’ve ever appreciated the lively art in our children’s area, you have our donors to thank! A generous bequest from a patron’s will was put towards renovating the area to include a colourful mural by local artist Ciarra Saylor Douglas.
